Installing New Ubuntu Flavor On Laptop
Got an old R40 I do my Linux experiments on. Was running Gutsy/Ubuntu before, ran good but it had some issues. Couldn't make my bluetooth work, couldn't get the video driver right, had problems with sound.
Ibex seems to work right out of the box. I'm installing Open Office now, tomorrow I'll see how it handles the media players and if it can play my sound and video stuff.
So far... bluetooth works, Wireless works, video driver is woot and it makes Ubuntu sounds so I'm liking it right out of the box.
